Here are two new raw songs I wrote last week: Your Friend I’ll Always Be, Won’t Stop, Time Will Pass. The theme of friendship has played a big role for me this past week since I recently reconnected with a group of international friends from 25 years ago and that has had a big impact on me. After you’ve listened to the songs from this week, tell me which one you like the most. Stories Behind the Songs
Your Friend I’ll Always Be
This track is about the certain people in your life that will be your friend no matter how much time passes, how hard life gets, or how far apart you are. There are a handful of those people in my life and I thought about them specifically as I wrote this song.
Won’t Stop
This track is about those times when our hopes and plans are taken from us or when life is no longer sweet and we refuse to quit – we refuse to stop doing what’s right.
Time Will Pass
This track about how there are certain people in your life who make you better for knowing them. You can go years with not seeing or talking to them, but when you get together again you can laugh and remember great moments together.
